Thanks to the dozens of members who made it out on a very windy Saturday morning to participate in the club’s spring workday. The opportunity to fellowship and get to know other members is abundant at each of our workdays. Plus, every member that comes out for a workday is entered to win one of the rifles given away at the annual meeting.
From 8:30 until noon members worked hard removing and replacing used backers and support boards. The 300 yards steel hanger braces were improved with welded struts. The bathroom facilities or repaired and the door latches were reworked. A dusk to dawn light was installed over the gate and the broken gate post was repaired.
Members got out of the wind in the clubhouse where the stove was working overtime keeping everyone warm. In addition, the club was able to obtain a large amount of cull wood from Home Depot and that would was organized and loaded into the Connex trailers.
If you were on able to make it out to this workday please check the calendar and put our next workday on your schedule. It truly is a unique and fun opportunity to get to know club members that you might otherwise not have the chance to interact with.
